Dr. Deering is passionate about helping patients achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Dr. Deering earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology before obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. Committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, he actively pursues continuing education through the renowned Spear Institute, where he learns the latest techniques and advances in dental aesthetics and restorative care.
Dr. Deering’s passion for dentistry runs deep—it’s in his blood. Growing up in Los Angeles with both parents as dentists, the dental office felt more like a playground than a workplace. From an early age, he watched his father work, eventually assisting him in high school, gaining hands-on experience that shaped his lifelong calling. Dentistry isn’t just a career for Dr. Deering—it’s the culmination of a lifetime immersed in the field, driven by an intrinsic love for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. For him, dentistry is also about building lasting relationships. He sees his patients as an extension of his own family—people he feels personally responsible for and deeply invested in. He takes pride in providing them with the same care, honesty, and attention he would give his loved ones, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued every step of the way.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Deering cherishes time with his wife and their two young children. Whether snowboarding in Mammoth, introducing his daughter to skiing, or spending summers houseboating on Lake Powell, he values every moment with his family. His dedication to both his profession and loved ones defines who he is—both as a dentist and as a person.
